If you are seeking King Eider hunting in spectacular areas with abundant waterfowl populations, this area of Greenland is the place. Hunters can expect to see large groups of King Eiders, Common Eiders and Oldsquaw on this pioneer waterfowl adventure.
When you contact us, you get in touch with authentic and friendly people who are actually running your hunt. We live here in Greenland, knows our areas and how to conduct waterfowl, providing success at all levels to your Hunt. In Greenland the outfitter must hunt with his clients every day out on the water himself. Some booking agencies may have been misinformed, sending their clients out without a licensed outfitters, not following Greenland hunting law. We prefer to book our own clients letting you know what to expect, and do not collaborate with any booking agency.
As licensed outfitters with years of experience we work together with radios, the hunt is mainly conducted over decoys from shore with quality equipment only. Top season for a King Eider hunt ends the third week of March, with temperature ranges from 0 - 20 fahrenheit. We advice you in how to take your birds back home on your flight, which saves you a lot of money.
Hunting season

Oldsquaw and Mallard ends Feb 28th.
Frank Feldmann guides your Hunt and is largely responsible for extending King Eider season to the period birds are here. Bring insulated baffin boots, warm gloves & headwear, triple B size 2 Tungsten Federal TSS, and full chokes - King Eiders are fast and extremely tough birds. Rental guns available. Spare birds are donated to locals and do not go to waste.
Total flight cost is from $1,500 to $2,000. Overnight flights from America to Keflavik/Iceland from $550 to $1,000, flight from Keflavik to Nuuk/Greenland from $800 to $1,200. There are normally no fog issues at Nuuk airport in February and March.
Day 1
Arriving from Keflavik we welcome you at Nuuk airport and take you to the double room with internet, TV, and hot shower. Nuuk town has everything, and still seems like a small outpost in the endless wilderness of Greenland. Continental breakfast is served, and during the week we make packed lunch. Good strong tasty food and a glass of wine for dinner. Frank Feldmann and one of his Inuit hunter friends know waterfowl and our waters. We guide your hunt and hang out with you at dinners during the week.
Day 2-4
100% King Eider mature drake success rate. In the morning we head out to the surf areas in an approved bigger boat with a heated enclosed cabin you sit inside. Out there in the middle of nowhere, we hunt over spinners and decoys from strategically located shore blinds, while the boat pushes birds to us. Population of birds is abundant.
Day 5
This extra day is on your own, and could be any day during the week. If we should get a day with bad weather, we can swop this day and still make the 3 hunting days. In Nuuk you find cafes, museums, shops and bars. Sightseeing, Cod fishing and day trips are also available upon request.
Day 6
Fly back home in the morning.
